Inspired-glass - dichroic glass fused jewellery
Some (fairly dreadful!) images of my dichroic glass earrings....
Really must take some time to learn how to take photos properly!
Because of the nature of the material, the colours change as the earrings move
- which adds another level of impossibility to the photography task...
Anyway - here's some images
All earrings are one-off designs, hand-made from dichroic glass which is fused in a kiln. Ear-studs are sterling silver, ear-wires are also sterling, and the 'bail' that secures the drop earrings to the ear-wires is silver-plated..
Commissions & mail-order are invited, but the nature of the process (where the size, shape and colour of the piece changes during firing in the kiln) means that the precise end-result cannot be guaranteed.. Don't blame me - blame the kiln angels!
