Where to find Inspired-glass
Regular Events
Although we are are usually at these West Cork markets during the summer season - from time-to-time we go to special events instead - so it's always best to contact us beforehand if you're making a special journey to see us!
We will be at the Schull Sunday Market - Sunday mornings - 10am - 2pm from Easter to September and again for the special Christmas market on 18th December.
Visit us at the Skibbereen Farmers' Market most Saturdays (9:30am - 1:30pm) from March to September and from time to time in the 'off' season.
For more information about markets in West Cork - see www.westcorkmarkets.com
You are welcome to call to the Studio (near Ballydehob, West Cork) - but please contact us first to arrange a suitable time.
Fairs
We will be taking part in a number of local fairs in the run-up to Christmas 2011.
These will include :-
The Coaction Christmas Fair (Westlodge Hotel, Bantry) - Thursday 17th November 5pm - 9pm
The Durrus Christmas Fair (Community Hall, Durrus) - Sunday 27th November 12 noon - 5pm
The Schull Christmas Fair (Church Hall, Schull) - Saturday 3rd December - 12 noon - 5pm
The Goleen Christmas Fair (Community Hall, Goleen) - Sunday 4th December - 2pm - 5pm
The Skibbereen Christmas Pop-up Shop (beside Drinagh Co-op, Skibbereen) from 3rd - 24th December - 10am - 6pm - with a great selection of art & crafts from local folks!
This year we are avoiding the larger fairs - particularly those that charge €140+ for a stall and then charge customers to come in & buy things. In the current economic climate we think this is taking the p***! - and we'd rather not attend, than have to pass the costs on to you, our loyal customers.
If you are running a smaller, local fair and would like us to attend - please contact us and we'd be delighted to discuss it.

Where we were....
We were demonstrating the art of stained-glass and displaying our glass and greetings cards at the Goleen May Fayre in Sunday 1st May from 2pm - 6pm in the Hall at Goleen, West Cork. We were in the company of more than 30 other crafters - with a range of products from pottery to baking and plants to chickens.
We were at the great Goleen Christmas Fair on 5th December 2010 - selling our stained glass, glass jewellery and beautiful greetings / Christmas cards in the company of more than thirty-five other local crafters at the Community Centre, Goleen, West Cork from 2pm - 6pm.
Included a special visit from Santa & his helpers, free entry, mulled wine, drinks & mince pies.
We took part in the very first Durrus Christmas Fair in the Community Hall on Sunday November 21st from 12 noon to 6pm. We showed a great selection of affordable Christmas gifts, and demonstrating the art of stained glass crafting throughout the day.
This was a great chance to choose your Christmas gifts from a wide selection of local arts and crafts, purchased direct from the people who made them. Many thanks to Aisling and her team of helpers who did such a great job of organising the Fair, and to all the lovely people from Durrus and further afield who made it such a fun day!
We were at the 2010 Designer Arts & Crafts Fair, on Sunday 7th November 2010 in the Celtic Ross Hotel, Rosscarbery - in the company of a great selection of local craft people.
We were at the Skibbereen Food Festival on Sunday 19th September 2010 in the Fairfield, off Bridge Street, Skibbereen. Another great family fun-day out - with bands, childrens’ entertainment, Skibbereen market, cookery demonstations, food & craft vendors and even more fun that you could possibly imagine! And Cork won!
We were at the great Coast Art Collective exhibition in Ballinspittle - 10th - 17th July 2010 (runs as part of the fabulous Kinsale Arts Week). All sorts of things going on at our exhibition - I was even giving stained-glass demonstrations! and there was a free draw to win two return tickets on the new Cork-Swansea ferry - courtesy of Fastnet Line more
We were featured in the Winter 2008/9 issue of Munster Interiors - (on page 53 in an article entitled ‘Glass Works’). We’re flattered to be in such august company as Stephen Pearce, Meadows & Byrne and Waterford Crystal. Fame at last! <grin>
