About Triolyse Glue

For some time I'd been reading about this new glue - there's lots of talk about it on the glass-crafting forums in the USA, but it was unobtainable here in Europe. I finally managed to obtain some from the USA (the postage cost me almost as much as the glue!) - and I was hooked !

In our glass studio in West Cork, Ireland, we create beautiful fused-glass jewellery (pendants, earrings, brooches etc) - which are usually mounted on metal findings. Over the years we've tried a variety of adhesives - but none of them are as fast, convenient and clean as Triolyse.

It's a 2-part, non-mixing epoxy - you simply brush a tiny amount of the activator onto one of the items to be bonded, and then place one or two drops of the resin onto the other item.

Wait a few seconds until the activator has dried, then press the two pieces together. In ten seconds or so they are bonded, and in two minutes you can clean up any excess adhesive (damp cloth or methylated spirit).

Full strength is achieved in 6 - 24 hours - depending on temperature. It's so easy, so clean, so effective....

Because of the special 'no-mix' formula it's much more economical than conventional epoxy glues, and there is virtually no waste. It will also glue aluminium, steel, copper & alloys, porcelain, polyester, fibreglass, ABS and (of course) glass !
