Chris has been making greetings cards for over five years - and has developed her own style - distinctive but understated. No two cards are quite the same - she shudders at the thought of ‘mass-producing’ them - so you can be sure that your card will be quite unique. Each card is carefully assembled, using a mixture of hand-coloured stamped / embossed images, different types of card and paper and various embellishments.
So much nicer than a mass-produced card !
Our stock of cards is constantly changing, and keeping this gallery up-to-date every time we sold or made a card would be a full-time job - so we are selling a number of card selection packs - with an assortment of three cards in each pack, arranged by sentiment. All cards have a ‘Handmade in Ballydehob, West Cork’ label on the back. Sizes include 6” x 4”, 5” square, 8.5” x 3.5” (13 x 10cm, 12 cm square, 22 x 9cm)
When you buy a pack of cards you will receive beautiful three hand-made cards which are similar in style to the ones shown - but not identical. If you have any special preferences (as in ‘I love roses’ or ‘I can’t stand hedgehogs’) - please let us know at the ordering stage - otherwise we will select the cards for you.
Sadly, we cannot accept orders for specific ‘made-to-order’ cards, or bulk items like Wedding Invitations, as Chris’s inspiration doesn’t work that way - but you can rest assured that any cards you purchase will be at least as beautiful as the ones shown here.
Unless otherwise specified cards will be a mixture of sizes and formats (landscape / portrait) - and will be individually packed in clear poly bags to protect them until you want to use them.
