Ann O'Leary - Artist
kilnacloona@eircom.net
phone 021-4778386 / 087-9610409
"I paint mainly in watercolours and choose to record
ordinary domestic scenes in a variety of still life settings.
I also portray nature that surrounds me through landscape...dream-like
watercolours of early morning dew drenched fields, or a precise
rendering of ivy as it drips from a white washed wall.
I also explore the world through abstract compositions, through
the medium of screen-printing. The hard-edge quality can reflect
my interpretation of the world around me, in a controlled
manner.
The precision of the printed image, of a loose painterly
brush-stroke is a contrast that I like to explore.
I trained at the Cork College of Art and the National College
of Art and Design, Dublin. I specialised in Fine-Art Painting
and Print-Making. I have exhibited in Wexford and Dublin in
group shows. I currently teach Art,Craft and Design in Kinsale
Community School."

Claire Keating
- Photographic Artist
clairekeatingartist@gmail.com
m: 0872786504
"This work explores the boundaries of representation.
Through masquerading we take on a different identity, thus
it is the Masquerade which creates the illusion.
The models in these images are located within 20th century
paintings and the effect was achieved in collaboration with
makeup artists. Through new technology and the fragmentation
of these portraits I am further exploring the nuances of the
female 'painted' face and the representation of women.
My B&W images, entitled Beach Games and Misty Waters
are an
exploration of alternative views of the 'seaside', which in
turn offers an escape for me from my usual constructed imagery.
I was born in Dublin and studied Photography and Digital
Arts at the University of Westminster, London, where I also
undertook post graduate research in Photographic Arts."

Patrick O'Dwyer - Artist

- Glenarousk, Castlelyons, Co. Cork
Phone 025 36297 / 086 3809188
I was always interested in art, but the day job in accountancy
took priority in order to pay the mortgage and college fees
etc.
However in 2002 health dictated a change in career and so
I decided to follow my first love, as an artist.
My preferred medium is oils, and I am adept at using a palette
knife to create texture. This is essential for seascapes,
animals, buildings, etc. My love of nature is especially reflected
in the peace and tranquillity of the seascapes. I also give
art demonstrations.
